Iran on Friday marched its tactical equipment on the commemoration of its 1980s battle with Iraq, including “the longest-range drone on the planet” alongside ballistic and hypersonic rockets, Iranian state media said. They said the robot “was disclosed” in the procession, which was communicated in real time, and that robots showed in the occasion were named Mohajer, Shahed and Arash.
The Islamic Republic said last month that it had fabricated a high level robot named Mohajer-10 with an upgraded flight reach and span as well as a bigger payload.
It has a functional scope of 2,000 km (1,240 miles) and can fly for as long as 24 hours, state media detailed then, adding that its payload could arrive at 300 kg (661 pounds), twofold the limit of the Mohajer-6 robot.
U.S. authorities have blamed Iran for giving Mohajer-6 robots, among other automated elevated vehicles, to Russia for its conflict against Ukraine. Tehran denies this.
“Our powers guarantee security in the locale and the Persian Bay,” President Ebrahim Raisi said at Friday’s motorcade in the capital Tehran. “We can show individuals of the locale that opposition is the present way. The Iran-Iraq war ejected on Sept. 22, 1980 when the powers of then-Iraqi President Saddam Hussein attacked Iran. The contention, which was financially decimating and left a portion of 1,000,000 dead, finished in impasse in August 1988.
