According to a statement from a senior defense officer, the event occurred as they were moving weaponry inside one of the camps.Sheikh Hamdan sent his deepest sympathies and condolences to the families of the slain troops, asking Allah to give them pardon, mercy, and a particular place in His gardens. He also prayed for their loved ones to have courage and solace at this trying time.
He also emphasized that present and future generations’ devotion to serving the country will always be strengthened by the sacrifices made by the deceased warriors.
