It was established that the establishments broke the law by trying to evade targets by using fake localization.
From mid-2022 to September 17, 2024, 1,818 private establishments were determined to have employed citizens illegally, in violation of Emiratization rules, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (Mohre).
It was established that these businesses broke the law when they attempted to evade objectives by using false localization, employing 2,784 persons without authorization.Establishments in violation are subject to a heavy fine of between Dh20,000 and Dh500,000. After that, the Public Prosecution is consulted.
In the MoHRE’s systems, the violators are categorized at the lowest level. In addition, the enterprises are expected to meet the actual Emiratization targets and make the necessary financial contributions.
The cessation of Nafis benefits and other prior financial perks will apply to those who violate Emiratization legislation.
The authorities urged the public to use the Ministry’s smart application and website, or to contact the call center at 600590000, in order to report any undesirable behaviors that go against Emiratization rules and directives.
Additionally, Mohre issued a warning, saying that it will deal with any bad actions taken to avoid fulfilling legal duties related to emiratization.
