Additionally, they exchanged viewpoints on the most recent developments on both a regional and an international level. Félix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed met on Friday during a working visit to the UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed President Tshisekedi’s visit and expressed his hope that it would further strengthen relations between the two countries for the benefit of their peoples during the meeting, which took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.

The meeting looked at ways to improve bilateral cooperation and collaboration in various fields with the goal of promoting development and prosperity in both countries. Additionally, he expressed his wish for DRC and its people’s continued prosperity, peace, and growth.

The two leaders looked into ways to work together more in a variety of areas, particularly development, the economy, trade and investment, renewable energy, and other important areas that help both countries develop in a sustainable way. In addition, they exchanged viewpoints on the most recent developments at the regional and international levels and discussed a number of topics that they shared.

Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with African nations in ways that advance their respective interests and foster development, stability, and prosperity on the continent for the benefit of all.

President Félix Tshisekedi thanked Sheikh Mohamed and praised the United Arab Emirates’ collaboration with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, its humanitarian and development initiatives in Africa, and its efforts to assist communities worldwide that have been impacted by crises.
