On the inaugural day of the Dubai Airshow 2023, Tawazun Council, an autonomous government entity collaborating closely with the Ministry of Defence and security entities to enhance value through acquisition systems, unveiled the accomplishment of inking nine substantial deals with both local and international companies.
This noteworthy announcement transpired at a press conference convened with the official spokespersons of Tawazun Council for the Dubai Airshow 2023, namely Zayed Saeed Al Meraikhi and Majed Ahmed Al Jaberi.
Zayed Saeed Al Meraikhi disclosed that Tawazun Council, acting on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, concluded four contracts with local companies, aggregating to a substantial Dh2.7 billion. Among these contracts was a pivotal agreement with Halcon, amounting to Dh2.14 billion, specifically directed towards the procurement of ammunitions. Majed Ahmed Al Jaberi went on to unveil the five deals Tawazun Council secured with international companies, totaling Dh2 billion.
One of the prominent agreements encompassed a contract worth Dh1.62 billion with the Chinese company Catic, focusing on the acquisition of an Air Show Aircraft and its accompanying Accessories.
Highlighting the significance of the Dubai Airshow, Al Jaberi underscored its pivotal role as a strategic event within the aviation sector and its specialized industries.
