The Unified Bedouin Emirates will start showing the Holocaust in history classes in essential and optional schools across the nation, the country’s consulate in the U.S. says. The consulate gave no hints on the educational program, and schooling experts in the Emirates are yet to make the declaration.
Nonetheless, the declaration comes after the UAE standardised relations with Israel in 2020 as a feature of an arrangement expedited by the administration of President Donald Trump.
“Directly following the noteworthy Abraham Accords, the UAE will currently remember the Holocaust for the educational plan for essential and optional schools,” the government office said in a tweet, alluding to the UAE’s standardisation of Bahrain and Morocco.
