Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has prohibited the abaya (a free, dark robe from head to toe, generally worn by Muslim ladies) in airport corridors.
The ETEC said in a tweet, “It is important to comply with the clothing standard that adjusts to the guidelines for protecting public respectability in the assessment settings, realising that wearing the shroud at the hour of stepping through the examination is illegal.” “Best of luck.”
The Education and Training Assessment Commission (ETEC) reported that youthful female understudies won’t be permitted to wear an abaya during the assessment period.
This came because of a tweet wherein a Saudi young lady, Dalia, inquired as to whether wearing the hijab during exams was passable.
In 2018, it was reported that the abaya was no longer legally significant, despite the fact that many women around the world continue to wear it.
