Tehran, Iran The Islamic Progressive Watchman Corps (IRGC) says four individuals from Iran’s security forces were killed in a firefight close to the Pakistan line.
One individual from the world-class force, named Mohammad Goudarzi, and three individuals from the Basij forces, working under the IRGC, were killed after a battle with an anonymous “fear monger bunch,” as indicated by a proclamation delivered by state media.
It said IRGC ground forces repulsed the attack, prompting the assailants to escape to Pakistan.
The episode supposedly occurred in Saravan, in the southeastern region of Sistan and Balochistan, close to the Pakistani border.
The IRGC did not say whether the fighting was related to the country’s ongoing distress in the midst of fights that erupted in mid-September after the death in care of Mahsa Amini, who was apprehended by profound quality police for claiming resistance with a required clothing regulation for ladies.
