The aid was sent via El Arish, Egypt, and a Boeing 747 carrying 71.6 metric tonnes took off from Dubai Royal Air Wing.
Another shipment of critical relief materials has been airlifted into Gaza by Dubai Humanitarian as part of the UAE’s humanitarian assistance there.
A Boeing 747 carrying 71.6 metric tonnes (MT) of necessary medical supplies, including kits for treating cholera, Interagency Emergency Health Kits (IEHK), and Emergency Relief Health (ERH) kits from the World Food Programme-United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (WFP-UNHRD) and the World Health Organization (WHO), took off from Dubai Royal Air Wing.
To support the affected and displaced population, the aid was coordinatedly transported via El Arish, Egypt.
Since the emergency’s start in October 2023, Dubai Humanitarian has helped Gaza with 19 shipments total. The supplies, estimated at Dh3.8 million ($1,037,560), are projected to benefit over 300,000 Gazans, giving life-saving relief.
