Pakistan corona virus, the number of people infected with (Coronavirus) went up in 2112 on Wednesday. This shows that despite all efforts of the government to prevent infection, cases are increasing continuously.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday assured doctors and nurses that they would be provided with the necessary protective equipment to combat the corona virus. The Prime Minister’s assurance has come amid reports of a lack of essential items for medical personnel.
After inaugurating the up-gradation work of Cantonment General Hospital in Rawalpindi, he said that doctors, nurses and other medical personnel are at the forefront of the fight against Corona virus and they will be provided with the necessary safety equipment for their safety and health.
According to the Ministry of National Health Service, 748 people have been diagnosed with Coronavirus from Punjab province. At the same time, 709 cases have been reported in Sindh, 253 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 158 in Balochistan, 184 in Gilgit Baltistan, 54 in Islamabad and six in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The ministry said that so far 26 people have died due to Coronavirus while 82 people have become infection-free. The condition of 10 people is critical.
The increasing number of infected people is showing a clear indication that all measures, including partial detention, are proving insufficient to stop the virus from spreading.
Officials in Pakistan are finding it difficult to stop the spread of infection and are urging people to stay in homes except in emergencies. Still, in many cities, it sees a minimal effect. People are roaming the streets, and the authorities are trying to convince them to stay in their homes.
