IRCTC: Railway booking tickets started from April 15? Railway Ministry told this big thing about reservation

The market of stories is also hot amid Coronavirus epidemic. One such false news has been denied by Indian Railways.

For the last few days, stories were spreads about the restoration of the ticket reservation facility. On this, the Ministry of Railways has clarified on Thursday. In a tweet, the Railway Ministry said, “Some media reports have claimed that the railways have started reservation for April 15 after the end of the lockdown period.”

It is clarified that the reservation for the journey after April 14 never stops. And it is not even related to any new announcement. ” Indian Railways to build 20 thousand coaches isolation ward, Corona infected 3.2 lakh patient was treated.”

It is noteworthy that to stop the spread of Coronavirus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a lockdown of 21 days from April 24, the period of which is ending on April 14. In such a situation, it has been claiming in some reports that after the lockdown, i.e. from April 15, train tickets have started getting.

Given 21 days of nationwide lockdown, the Railways cancelled all passenger trains and all passenger tickets by April 14 2020. They are also announcing to give a full refund of all tickets of S duration. Currently, all the booking counters (PRS) of the country is close.
