New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said here on Thursday coronavirus can be killed only 16 thousand people in New York. He warned the governors of other cities of America that their cities may also face situations like New York. He has appealed everyone to start taking immediate action to deal with the corona virus.
In his daily press conference on the Covid-19 pandemic, Cuomo pointed to the data on estimates of deaths cited by a group associated with the Gates Foundation. According to these estimates, 93,000 Americans and 16,000 New Yorkers will die by the time the epidemic ends.
Cuomo said, “If you trust this number then 16000 deaths in New York, that means thousands of deaths are going to happen outside New York too.” Cuomo cautioned the governors of other states that this is the problem of New York today, but tomorrow it may also be in Kansas, Texas and New Mexico. He also warned other state governors to be cautious after seeing the current situation in New York.
At the same time, Cuomo expressed concern over the increasing number of corona virus infections in the country but also expressed pride in the number of samples tested. He said, ‘The more investigations you do, the better you are doing.’
