Hackers have stopped working on the Fars news agency, which was one of the main sources of state-issued information during protests over Mahsa Amini’s death.

Since Amini’s death in custody on September 16, when she was arrested for allegedly violating Iran’s dress code for women, protests have rocked the country.

Thanks: Iran’s Fars news agency, which was one of the primary sources of news disseminated by the state during protests over the death of Mahsa Amini, reported that hackers had disrupted its operations.

Since Amini’s death in custody on September 16, when she was arrested for allegedly violating Iran’s dress code for women, protests have rocked the country.

Late on Friday, Fars reported that a “complex hacking and cyberattack operation” had disrupted its website.

It added, without going into specifics, “Cyberattacks against Fars news agency are carried out almost daily from different countries, including the occupied territories (Israel).”

Black Reward, a group, announced on October 21 that it had obtained documents regarding Iran’s nuclear program and demanded the release of all political prisoners and protesters.

Documents and a brief clip from a rumored Iranian nuclear site were among the social media posts that the group said it had released after its 24-hour deadline expired.

While downplaying the significance of the in question documents, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran acknowledged on November 23 that “a specific foreign country” had targeted one of its subsidiaries.
