The world-famous, writer-director- duo- Russo brothers, brings together Hollywood industry’s two finest actors, Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling for a spy thriller, for Netflix, The Grey Man.
Russo brothers new project is based on the best-selling book of the same name by Mark Greaney, according to a news report. Reports have further revealed that the budget for this much-awaited thriller has set to be huge, around $200 million.
In a recent interview with the Deadline, Joe and Anthony, commonly addressed as, The Russo brothers, said, “The idea is to create a franchise and build out a whole universe. We have all committed to the first movie and that’s got to be great to get us to the second movie. We think Netflix is the perfect place for this film.”
After the gigantic success of Avengers: Endgame and Extraction, this duo is set to deliver yet another banging success similar to, spy thriller, James Bond.
Explaining about the movie, Joe reveals that, Evans’ character had chase after Goslings’ character whose character was burned by the CIA.
The story is said to be binding as it is penned down by one of the industry’s best screenwriters, Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus whose exceptional work was recently seen in the phenomenal blockbusters, Captain America and Avengers.
Joe aims at putting it all in in the first movie and making it a great one to get the audience even more excited for the second one.
Netflix has announced that it is the most expensive movie they have laid their hands on. The movie revolves around Ryan Gosling who is a former spy and a brutal assassin and Chris Evans a merciless CIA agent. The original series about Court Gentry aka, The Grey Man contains a series of 10 books, hence Netflix has got plenty of incredible material along with marvellous star cast.
