Gujrati actor, Pratik Gandhi, his wife who is also an actor and brother Punit recently, tested positive for coronavirus. The couple is home quarantined for now, whereas, Pratik’s brother, Punit is hospitalised.
Coronavirus is deadly and is taking a serious toll on people’s lives in many ways. Day after day cases is multiplying. Celebrities who have recently started shooting and multiple cases have started coming up. From superstar Amitabh Bachchan and his family to TV stars corona cases have made its place.
Pratik whose next project was Hansal Mehta’s series Scam 1992, recently tweeted to inform his fans that he and his wife, Bhamini Oza were home quarantined.
In his recent tweet, he said, “We as a family took ‘be positive’ way too seriously and didn’t discriminate against even corona. I and my wife are being treated at home and my brother is hospitalised, we are all putting up a strong fight against the virus. With warmth, support and prayers of friends and family.”
After his tweet, his co-stars, friends and directors wished him a speedy recovery.
One of his friend, Shrenu who also has been tested positive for the virus wrote, “Hey we are all in the same boat Pratik! Wish you and your family godspeed recovery! Feel free to call anytime if dukh dard baantna hai. TC (sic).”
Pratik’s co-star, Shreya wrote, “Oh crap! Praying for you and your family’s speedy recovery!!”
Hansal Mehta, Pratik’s director posted on Instagram saying “Get well soon, champ. Beat the virus with your positivity.”
In 2014, Pratik became famous with his incredible performance in a Gujrati film, Bey Yaar. Since then, over the years he has given brilliant performances in Wrong Side Raju, Ventilator and Love Ni Bhavai. He was even starred in Salman Khan- produced movie, Loveyatri and Mitron.
