Weather in the UAE: Red alert for fog and reduced visibility

The public has been asked by the weather department not to spread rumors. The National Center for Meteorology has issued a red alert due to fog that reduces horizontal visibility. On September 7, the alert is in effect from 3.55 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. Residents are required to take action if a red alert is issued because extremely hazardous weather conditions are anticipated. Earlier, the weather department also issued a yellow alert until 8:30 a.m.

NCM urged the public to follow official reports and not spread rumors. Additionally, the weather service urged individuals to adhere to the following safety precautions: Maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles Not activating the danger lights adhering to the posted limit of speed Following the lane The Abu Dhabi Police Department has urged motorists to drive with caution and adhere to changing speed limits posted on boards.

On Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed International Road in Abu Dhabi, the speed limit has been raised to 80 kilometers per hour. This has been done in the area between Qareen Al Aish and Al Hamra Bridge and between Al Thamriya Bridge and Al Hamra Bridge. The weather is expected to be pleasant overall and partly cloudy at times, according to a NCM forecast.

By afternoon, convective clouds could form to the east and south, increasing the likelihood of precipitation. By Sunday morning and into the night, the weather is expected to be humid. In the interior, coastal areas, and islands, humidity can reach 90%, while in the mountains, it can be as low as 15%. Winds ranging from light to moderate will blow, occasionally freshening the air and blowing dust during the day. In the Oman Sea and the Arabian Gulf, the sea will be light.
