Ladies pioneers in the UAE will profit from a Dh15 million award committed to propelling their initiative abilities and improvement. It will give them admittance to information, administrations, emotionally supportive networks and assets, through an improvement organization.
The Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi Seat in Ladies’ Authority will be financed by NAMA Ladies Headway Foundation (NAMA), who has banded together with the American College of Sharjah (AUS) for this drive. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of NAMA, is recognized for her significant efforts and contributions to the advancement of women’s education.
Sheikha Jawaher explained why the initiative was important. It is the first ever endowed chair focused on women’s leadership and development in the UAE. She stated, “Women will always be a valuable asset in their society that deserves investment.”
“We held great confidence in the exceptional women who are passionate about giving back to their communities when we pledged to support and empower female students and researchers worldwide.” She stated that Sharjah’s partnership with AUS is a significant step toward advancing women in education. She stated, “We will continue to build and advance research facilities and promote initiatives that raise awareness about the benefits of education for women.”
Maximum potential AUS currently offers a number of leadership programs to its students, including ones for young people, women, and those who are just starting out. A minor in women’s studies is also available at the university to help people learn about women’s accomplishments, contributions, and experiences. Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi, president of the AUS, stated that the chair gives everyone the ability to reach their full potential.
“This drive can possibly enable and move ages of ladies pioneers,” she said. “AUS is focused on building a comprehensive climate where ladies succeed, and this seat is a strong articulation of that responsibility, driving examination, schooling, and effort that will raise the situation with ladies in UAE and then some.”
She claims that the chair will enable AUS to make significant progress in women’s studies and further its goal of expanding its academic offerings by collaborating with NAMA.
