Eid Al Adha

Eid Al Adha

This is the tenth year that the initiative “You made me happy” has been running. As part of the Dubai Police’s “You made me happy” initiative, children of female prisoners received clothing during the holiday of Eid Al Adha.

According to Colonel Jamila Al Zaabi, Director of the Women’s Prison, the campaign aims to bring happiness to the children of female inmates as part of Dubai Police’s humanitarian initiatives. Al Zaabi made sense that the jail organization gives a positive climate to the offspring of female detainees. Admittance to reasonable food and drink, standard clinical check-ups, and fundamental perusing and composing schooling, is guaranteed, she added.

She mentioned that “the prevailing atmosphere is primarily familial and fraternal.” This campaign, which has been running for ten years, was started by the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Institutions and the Child and Women Protection Department of Dubai Police’s General Department of Human Rights. Alongside Al Zaabi, Lieutenant Colonel Dr Ali Muhmmad Al Matroushi, Head of the Youngster and Lady Insurance Division, and a few officials and work force from the two sides likewise went to the send off.

Al Zaabi stated that the initiative “reflects our commitment to social responsibility and keenness to promote values of tolerance and love by bringing joy to children during Eid by distribution of clothing.”
