A recently hitched couple was found dead with cut wounds on their bodies inside a room at their home not long before their wedding party in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur, police said on Wednesday.
Police suspect that a battle broke out between the two, following which the man wounded his significant other to death prior to committing suicide.
The episode occurred at Brijnagar under Tikrapara police headquarters restricts late Tuesday night, an authority said.
Aslam, 24, and Kahkasha Bano, 22, got hitched on Sunday and their wedding party was planned to be hung on Tuesday night. They were preparing for the capability inside their room when the husband to be’s mom heard shouts of the lady and hurried there, he said.
“The room was locked from inside and when they didn’t answer, the relatives peeped through a window and found them lying oblivious in a pool of blood, following which they informed the police,” he said.
Police tore open the entryway and sent their bodies with cut wounds for posthumous, he said, adding that a blade was recuperated from the spot.
“At first sight it appears to be that a contention broke out between the couple and the man went after his significant other with a blade and afterward committed suicide,” he said.
Notwithstanding, an examination concerning the matter is in progress, he added.
