Saudi Arabia announced Thursday that it will exempt Indian citizens from having to submit a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) to obtain a visa to travel to Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi embassy in New Delhi tweeted the official name, saying the PCC was no longer required for Indian citizens and the decision was made as part of the two countries’ efforts to further strengthen their ties.
“Considering the strong ties and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of India, the Kingdom has decided to exempt Indian nationals from the requirement to produce Police Clearance Certificates (PCs),” said New Delhi.
