They will participate in volleyball, football, and cricket tournaments, among other activities. For the Eid Al Adha holidays, the UAE government is providing employees with a sports festival and other events.
During the three-day showcase, which is being organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) in collaboration with other organizations across the nation, two cars, smartphones, travel tickets, and a variety of other gifts will be given away.
The laborers are meeting up in groups that will contend in football, volleyball, and cricket matches. There are also plans for additional events. Mohre stated that the objective is to demonstrate the appreciation of workers by the government, who have long been important partners in the success story of the UAE.
Workshops will be held on the sidelines of entertainment events to educate workers about their rights and responsibilities and the country’s labor laws and policies. These leisure pursuits are part of efforts to ensure the well-being of workers, including legislation ensuring workers’ rights and safety and raising wage and accommodation standards.
The UAE’s midday work ban will go into effect on June 15 and last until September 15. Delivery riders will also have access to approximately 6,000 rest stops.
