UAE residents will no longer be able to order food from the app. Starting November 24th, customers will be redirected to his Talabat app.

The Khaleej Times received several inquiries from local residents about how the development is affecting them. We reached out to Zomato to address those issues. Everything you need to know is here.

  1. What happens to credit card information and other banking information that users have stored in the app?
  2. The app does not shut down. Only the food order function will be abolished. This means all your banking details are safe.
  3. What will a user see when he logs into his Zomato app after November 24?
  4. The Zomato app has three tabs.

Delivery, Dining, and Pro Starting November 24th, users will be prompted to download the Talabat app when they click Share. His other two tabs work as normal. “Customers can order from their favourite restaurants, including many Zomato-loving brands, through the Talabat app,” the spokesperson said. “Restaurant partners can also choose to join Talabat to grow their business and provide their customers with the delivery experience Talabat offers.” Can you do it?

  1. Zomato continues to expand its restaurant discovery and restaurant business. New features such as “Vibe Check” and “Zomato Pay” are already active in his four UAE cities of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman.

Vibe Check makes it easy for participating restaurants to promote themselves. Restaurants can post short videos similar to Instagram stories to showcase their location and specialties. Zomato Pay helps users make payments and take advantage of discounts and other offers.

  1. What happens to outstanding balances and credits?
  2. The company will begin paying restaurants’ bank accounts by December 30, 2022.
