A 36-year-old antique accountant working for a contracting agency has been asked to return and pay the salaries of six seized employees.
A supervisor within the agency filed a lawsuit in opposition to him, mentioning that she gave him Dh25,350 to deposit within the agency’s financial institution account. However, he seized the cash for himself and refused to go back to get it, even after being requested amicably.
The plaintiff submitted evidence that confirmed that the accountant had signed a file mentioning that he had obtained the cash in a good way to pay the personnel’s salaries. She additionally submitted the names of the people and their respective salaries.
The Ras Al Khaimah Partial Civil Court issued a sentence obliging the defendant to pay the plaintiff Dh25,350 and ordered him to pay the lawsuit costs and expenses.
