Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his displeasure over the 157 people of the state who had returned from the four-day Tablig Jamaat in Nizamuddin Markaz, Delhi, not conducting their investigation. Taking strict action against those who hide information, he has directed to file a case.
The Chief Minister was reviewing the lockdown system implemented to control the Coronavirus COVID-19 at his residence on Wednesday. During this, he said that apart from taking information about the returned deposits from Delhi, he instructed everyone that if no one gives any information about them or tries to hide their identity, then file a case against him.
He said that the priority of the government at this time is to search 157 people of Nizamuddin Markaz’s returned from the Tablighi Jamaat in Delhi and take a sample of them and get the coronavirus tested. With this, quarantine all these 157 people for 14 days.
Adityanath said that it has been learned that the people who have returned from Markaz have come to Uttar Pradesh with many foreigners from other states. Due to their contact, there have been cases of coronavirus positive in Telangana. He said that those who came back from the Jamaat should be investigated at war level, legal action should be taken against those who hid the facts. Those who are from abroad through Jamaat, their passports should be confiscated and it should be ensured that common people do not have to bear the brunt of the mistakes of the people of Jamaat.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the state government will not cut any salary of state employees. He said that the Energy Department should ensure that during the lockdown period, no fixed charge of electricity is charged from the industries. He said that the success of lockdown is the successful treatment of Kovid-19. He said that the state government is providing free April food grains to the poor. He instructed the nodal officers that citizens affected by the lockdown should not face any problem. Their food and health tests should be arranged and treatment should be done as per the need.
