The TikTok company is donating 4,00,000 Hazmat Medical Protective Suits and Masks to doctors and health workers in India. The company also said that gear that has been made that meets the prescribed standards and guidelines. These are being handed over to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. In addition, the company has also provided 2,00,000 masks for local / state level medical workers to the Government of Delhi and Maharashtra. It has also said that more help will also be provided by the company in the coming time.
Only last week, TikTok launched a new campaign in partnership with the United Nations Development Program. The name of this campaign is #GharBaithoIndia. In this, users have been invited to tell them how to protect themselves during lockdown. At the same time, earlier TikTok provided 480p resolution video streaming only on SD quality through mobile network during lockdown in view of national consumer interest. At the same time, if users are using broadband or Wi-Fi connection, then only they will be able to enjoy HD and Ultra HD quality.
