Safety features of expensive cars in the new Swift
The new Swift offers a number of safety features that are usually offered inexpensive cars. The Swift facelift comes with ‘Suzuki Safety Support’. It has modern safety features such as automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and lane-keeping assist. Apart from this, traffic sign recognition and automatic headlamps have been given in this hatchback car.
What’s new in the interior?
The interior of the new Swift is largely the same as before. The dashboard design, central console and door panels remain the same. No changes have been made in the new Swift. New upholstery for the seat in the car has been given. The instrument console has been upgraded with multi colour multi-information display.
What changed in the exterior?
The new Swift features new grills that come with a diamond and honeycomb pattern. New alloy wheels have been given in the car. Now this car also comes with Orange and Yellow paint schemes. However, this colour variant can be launched only in Japan as well.
Engine and power
The new Swift has a 1.2-litre petrol engine as before, which generates 91PS power and 118Nm torque. The CVT variant gives a mileage of 20kmpl and 5MT variant 21.8kmpl. The Hybrid AMT variant gives a mileage of 28.6kmpl.
