Visakhapatnam Vizag: Largest gas scandal in the country after Bhopal! 6 deaths so far, 1000 people admitted

6 people, including a child, died due to gas leaking in a pharma company plant at around 2:30 am today, while the condition of 100 people remains critical. More than 1000 people have admitted to the hospital. 3 km from this gas leak. The area has affected. As a precautionary 6 villages have evacuated. The gas leaked from the plant is being named as styrene.

According to the information

RR of Visakhapatnam Chemical gas leaked in the LG polymer industry in Venkatapuram village. Due to this, the people present there were taken to the hospital after complaining of irritation in eyes and difficulty in breathing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is monitoring this entire situation. He has called a disaster management meeting to take stock of the situation.

PM Modi tweeted, ‘I have spoken to the officials of MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) and NDMA (National Disaster Management Authority) about the situation in Visakhapatnam which is being closely monitored. I pray for the safety and welfare of all in Visakhapatnam. ‘PM Narendra Modi CM of Andhra Pradesh Y.S. Have a conversation with Jaganmohan Reddy. He assured all help and support.

Spoke to officials of MHA and NDMA regarding the situation in Visakhapatnam, which is being monitored closely.

Home Minister Amit Shah has also tweeted that the incident is being monitored. Amit Shah tweeted, ‘The incident in Visakhapatnam is disturbing. Talked to NDMA officials and concerned officials. We are constantly and closely monitoring the situation. I pray for the people of Visakhapatnam to be good.

The effect of styrene gas on the body

– Trouble breathing
– Body rashes
– Eye irritation
– Vomiting
– Fainting

How dangerous is styrene gas?

– These gas used in making things like plastics, paints, tires
– Burning in the body, a direct effect on the central nervous system
– Styrene gas is very dangerous for children, respiratory patients

What to take in such a situation Caution

– No running should be done
– The wet cloth should be placed over the mouth
– The patient should take a long breath while lying down, if he is unable to breathe, then take oxygen help.

It has told that when the gas leaked, people started getting nervous and had trouble breathing. The reason for the gas leak has not known yet.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has inquired about the incident and directed the District Collector to ensure that the affected people get proper treatment.
