Google CEO Sundar Pichai has donated five crore rupees to ‘Give India’ to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. Give India tweeted, ‘Thank you Sundar Pichai for giving a grant of five crore rupees from Google to provide the much-needed cash assistance to the families of the daily wage labourers.’

Earlier, Google had announced assistance of more than $ 800 million as part of efforts to tackle the Kovid-19 epidemic. This includes a $ 200 million investment fund for NGOs and banks, which will help small businesses to raise capital.
