SYRIA – Within Eastern Syria, the Islamic State terrorist group are stopping over 1000 Syrian civilians from leaving a local village located on the eastern side of Syria.
Mr. Mustafa Bali a representative of the Kurdish lead Syrian Democratic force has confirmed that IS has now closed all roads from that small village.
The Kurdish Syrian Democratic forces have also confirmed that these extremists are hiding amongst civilians within the village, and are using a vast network of caves and even tunnels, IS, at one point in the past controlled vast parts of Syria and even Iraq, is now clinging to a small area less than one square kilometer in the eastern part of Syria within a village called Baghouz.
Sources fear that this particular extremist group might also be hiding very high-level commanders and leaders amongst the civilians and possibly might be holding numerous civilian hostages who are trapped inside that village.
To date, coalition raids or air strikes and even clashes, have continued within the town of Baghouz.
Leaders of the SDF continue to say that “the end of IS a self-declared caliphate is near”.
Within a publicized news conference, the commander from the SDF forces on Saturday said that he will “bring good news to the whole world very soon”.
