TORONTO – It was a violent beginning for New Years 2019 in the Toronto area with at least six attacks.
Toronto Law enforcement state that one person remains in critical after a brawl at Queen Street and Bathurst location approximately 12:35 a.m.
” A man was kicked to the floor, hemorrhaging severely when this individual was taken to the medical facility,” Const. David Hopkinson pointed out Tuesday. “We know his personal injuries have intensified and that this individual remains in critical condition.”
The suspects thought to have gotten away using a blue automobile.
Approximately 5:10 a.m., a male was also shot in the head just outside a nightclub at Oakwood Village, close to Oakwood Ave & Vaughan Road.
“We had a report of a shooting and when police arrived, there was a man shot & unconscious. He was taken to a hospital and treated and is now in stable condition,” Hopkinson stated.
A couple of hrs earlier, a female was apprehended after a couple of males were stabbed around Danforth close to Main Street about 2:30 a.m.
“2 males were stabbed outside a club and have non-life-threatening damages. A female was detained at the scene,” Hopkinson pointed out.
Yet another brawl in another nightclub, this time at the Liberty Village, sent a couple of males to the emergency room with non-life-threatening conditions.
“There was yet another brawl in a public parking area,” Hopkinson mentioned.
A passerby remains in severe health condition following a hit-and-run around 4:30 a.m. close to Dufferin Street and Saint Clair Ave.
The injured party was actually unconscious at the time when taken to the emergency room. The car which fled the crime scene might possibly be a Honda Civic.
