FLORIDA – A Brightline train moving to the south ran over a walker at Oakland Park Tuesday mid-day.
The incident occurred close to Cypress Creek Road and Dixie Freeway that halted the 602 train coming from Brightline at roughly 2:45 pm, a number of kilometers to the north of the Fort Lauderdale terminal.
Currently, it is not known what condition the victim remains in.
Given that Brightline started testing and shortly afterward operating the train in 2017, 7 individuals have already perished due to deadly incidents.
