Sanjeeb Says – Being an entrepreneur is the toughest thing these days, You get to chase your dreams, live your passion and build something new – but all this comes with a bagful of risk and challenges. Be it concerned parents or future in-laws, a stable and secure job makes everyone comfortable. But a few young minds choose the path less travelled. Instead of being a job seeker, they have created jobs for others.
Sanjeeb Choudhury & Rajib Choudhury are 26 years and 29 years old respectively is the CEO and MD of Choudhury & Son Enterprises. They owned a Samsung Distributorships and a retail home appliance shop at Attabira of Bargarh District in Odisha. The Journey was not a cakewalk for them, haling from a poor family it was not an easy task for them to get the big brand distributorship.
Choudhury Brother’s Say- My Father Shri Narayan Choudhury is an egg retailer, who sells eggs at Attabira. We couldn’t be here without him, although he used to sell eggs he had sent us to a good school and never left us in any type of scarcity. The poor situations of the family which we both brothers saw from our childhood, we had decided to stand out differently. We started by selling chocolates in different shops to earn revenue, and the journey is started in 2011. We took a loan of 60,000 and then grow up our chocolate business. We had earned a good profit in that session, so we decided to take up a few more things to sell. So we added a few more commodities like soaps, edible oil. After gaining a good amount we had invested that amount in dealership of essentials commodities.
As we all know, time flies very fast and people want to go with the flow to stay updated. We had seen that all people want to remote themselves and we decided to take a big loan and enter the world of digitalization. So we started our own firm Choudhury Agency, which deals in all types of digital gadgets and home appliances. We had generated 8 numbers of jobs. And post-pandemic we are planning a very big project for Attabira, which will create about 30 number of job opportunities.
We both brothers want to make India self-reliant, as PM Modi said Atma Nirbhar. We want to contribute as much as possible from our end to boost up the economy of the nation.
