Shivam Thakur was born on 29th November 2002. His Father’s Name is Arun Kumar Thakur, and his Mother’s name is Mamta Thakur. Shivam excelled in other sports like Cricket, athlete, kabaddi, kho-kho, and won many medals at the school level. He is right now International County Shooting Player, also the brand ambassador of SGADF. Shivam is a known face of various brands worldwide. He came from a middle-class family. His Parents were from Bihar and, awing a shop in Noida.
Shivam is two siblings, and being a younger one, he was naughty and ignorant toward his studies. While going to school, he started learning Cricket in 2012, from gully cricket to school cricket team of his school, Sardar Patel School as a faster bowler. He became the vice-captain of the team during this time; he took the right amount of interest in Cricket. He joined major Dhyan Chand National stadium Delhi for further practice.
He got an opportunity and selected in the Under11 of Delhi team. It didn’t stop here. He played Under16 U.P in 2013-14. In 2015, Kerala’s event an unfortunate incident happened. He doesn’t know ligament tear. Which shattered his dream become an India’s best cricketer and hearty made him quit as a coming from a middle class, forming it was next to impossible to get it repaired through injury. He was unable to chase his dream due to injury, but somewhere, his soul was fighting. He decided what to leave if he could not play; He could inspire and inspire others to walk the path of their dreams in the field of sports. In 2017, he started the “SGADF – School Games and Activity Development Foundation” to fulfill his dream.
SGADF became a platform for children to achieve their goals by adopting the game as a medium. He is continuously working intending to break the various cycles of non-transparency of opportunity to privilege and unprivileged children. Later, the Organisation recognized by TAFISA, IAKS, ICSSPE. The single handle managed to represent and admitted INDIA on the international platforms. After two years, he again indulged in sports and emerged as a pistol shooter in 2018. He won his first international award in shooting ion Bangladesh. Many up and down come in his life. He is just 18 years, but still, it was a roller coaster ride. He always says, “it does not want to win that makes you a winner; it is refusing to fail” Achievements Shivam ambassador the SGADF in 2017.
He is directly involved in various sports International and National federations and tries his best to inspire students from all backgrounds to take part in sports and cultural activates. He presented SGADF as a platform for children to achieve their goals by adopting sports as a medium. SGADF is a non-profit organization, is committed to raising both standard and status of physical education and sports at par with other professions. The organization is created to serve the state and nations with various programs in games that are dedicated to inspiring possibilities and opportunities for aspiring candidates.

For his outstanding achievements in sports and his hard work in dissemination games and cultural activities, he has been nominated for the Student Ratan Award and Khel Gaurav Award.
