Nasrallah calls Israel’s attacks on Lebanon a “act of war”

Hassan Nasrallah, the head of Hezbollah, refers to the pager and walkie-talkie attacks as “a terrorist act” and a declaration of war against the sovereignty and people of Lebanon.
According to Lebanese Health Minister Firass Abiad, 287 people are in critical condition and 37 people have died as a result of the two waves of attacks that occurred across the nation.
Following the coordinated explosions of these devices on Tuesday and Wednesday, the director general of civil aviation in Lebanon has issued a directive prohibiting passengers from bringing pagers and walkie-talkies on board any airplane, according to official media.
The “blatant assault on Lebanon’s sovereignty and security,” according to the country’s foreign minister, is a worrying move that might “predict a bigger war.”
