The first two movie – Veena Sud’s ‘The Lie’ and Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour Jr.’s ‘Black Box’ will release on October 6. These further will be followed by Priyanka’s ‘Evil Eye,’ and ‘Nocturne,’. Which is written and also directed by filmmaker Zu Quirke.
One of the most popular actress Priyanka Copra is the executive-producer of Evil Eye. Tjis is basically one among the eight spine-chilling and interlinked movie that constitute the upcoming original OTT series. Which is Welcome To The Blumhouse. All the eight movies will have a same theme.
The movies will be centred on family and love as redemptive and destructive forces. The first two films — Veena Sud’s “The Lie” and Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour Jr.’s “Black Box” — will release on October 6. After the drop of these two movies, then the movies by Priyanka’s, that is Evil Eye, and “Nocturne”, will be dropped. These are written and directed by filmmaker Zu Quirke. The rest of the movies will be unveiled in 2021.
“Evil Eye” is directed by two famous director s Elan Dassani and Rajeev Dassani. Including stars Sunita Mani, Sarita Choudhury, Bernard White and Omar Maskati. It reveals how a perfect romance turns into a nightmare when a mother becomes convinced about her daughter’s new boyfriend. Which further has a dark connection to her own past.
“The Lie”, is written and directed by Sud. By stars Peter Sarsgaard, Mireille Enos and Joey King. The story is about the two desperate parents. These parents are trying to cover up a horrific crime, which is done by their daughter. It leads them into a complicated circle of lies and deception.
“Black Box” starts includes Mamoudou Athie, Phylicia Rashad and Amanda Christine. The story is about all about a single father. This single father, loses his wife and his memory in a major car accident. He further undergoes an experimental treatment, which causes him to question who he is.
These movies will be released on Amazon Prime Video platform. The original series is produced by Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Television and Amazon Studios.
