Dil Bechara is the official Hindi adaptation of John Green’s bestselling novel, The Fault in Our Stars. The book’s Hollywood adaptation of the same name released in 2014 and turned out to be a blockbuster.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara is releasing today (July 24) on Disney+Hotstar. Starring Sanjana Sanghi as the female lead, the film is directed by Mukesh Chhabra. As a tribute to the late actor, Dil Bechara will be available for all to watch for free.
The OTT platform took to social media to announce the time of release of the film with the fans. The post read, “Manny is a charming boy who every girl desires. Watch their cute banter in #DilBechara streaming from 7:30 PM tomorrow (sic).”
Sara Ali Khan, who made her debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath (2018), wrote, “One last glimpse of our shooting star Sushant Singh Rajput #DilBechara 24th July @ 7:30PM IST on Disney Hotstar (sic).”With her many other celebrities also took to their social media to share with their fans the time of release of Dil Bechara.
Recently, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Mukesh said that it was difficult for him to get Dil Bechara ready for release after Sushant’s death. “It’s been tough. I was in the middle of finishing the film for release, working on the trailer etc., and looking at Sushant every day- it was so difficult to work on the film. Right now, I don’t know what I am feeling- if I should be happy or sad. There are a lot of mixed emotions and I don’t know how to react to situations now. It is bittersweet, perhaps. For me, the meaning of the film has changed, as he is gone,” he said.
