Buses using the Al Garhoud bridge will momentarily replace the Al Maktoum bridge.
Some bus lines in Dubai will be temporarily redirected owing to the work on Al Maktoum Bridge, as per the Roads and Transport Authority.
Bus stations along these routes will not be served from September 29, 2024, to January 23, 2025.These routes are: 10, 23, 27, 33, 88, C04, C05, C10, C26, E16, X28 and X94.
Additionally, buses using the Al Garhoud bridge will temporarily replace the Al Maktoum bridge.
Up until January 16, 2025, Al Maktoum Bridge will operate on a semi-operational schedule. The main bridge will be closed for the entire day on Sundays and closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Mondays through Saturdays.
Additionally, the authority declared that a few bus stops would not operate during the diversionary time. These are the following:
Dnata 1 Dnata 2 Metro Bus Stop 1-1 City Center
Um Hurair, Road 2, Rashid Hospital Roundabout 1 Oud Metha Bus Station 7
Moreover, passengers on Route 23 will not be served at Oud Metha Bus Station; instead, service will begin and end in Deira City Centre Bus Station.
