Nikita Harisinghani is a thriving name in the F&B industry. She and her partners run one of India’s most successful F&B companies, Chrome Hospitality. Her company runs 5 popular restaurants in Mumbai – Eve, Donna Deli, Blah, Demy and Shy. She started the company during the pandemic, and with her hard work and dedication, it is growing successfully.
Before venturing into the F&B industry, Nikita used to run a luxury IP brand company called Chrome Entertainment. With her company, for 6 years, she handled some important luxury IPs across the country for brands like Femina, Radio Mirchi, Grazia and others. However, during the lockdown, Nikita realised that big events were out of the question for some time. Hence, running restaurants came to her as food will always be important in everyone’s life.
Nikita’s first restaurant work was Silly in Mumbai’s Khar area. She was personally involved in the restaurant’s design, making sure it looked appealing and grabbing people’s interest. She shared, “I had my business partners supporting me throughout this journey. I don’t think setting up a restaurant is a one person job, I think it takes an army of people to set up a restaurant.”
When asked what inspired her to venture, particularly in the hospitality section, entrepreneur Nikita Harisinghani revealed, “I think post Covid, we all had to adapt. I saw tremendous potential in the Hospitality sector and I personally felt we could build a niche for ourselves and we did exactly that. My inspiration all along this journey has been my husband and business partner, Pawan Shahri who’s been in the industry for far more years than I have and is my go to person for all my problems.”
From one restaurant to 6 thriving restaurants in Mumbai, Nikita Harisighani has come a long way. Her company also helps with consultation services for restaurants all over India. So far, the company has consulted more than 50 restaurants in the last one and a half a year.
