On Monday, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan traveled to India for a two-day official visit as he looks forward to further strengthening bilateral ties with India. Sheikh Abdullah, accompanied by a high-level delegation, will meet with Foreign Minister Jaishankar.
“It is always a pleasure to welcome HH Sheikh @ABZayed from the United Arab Emirates to India. “This is his 4th organised conference this year,” Jaishankar wrote in a short tweet afterwards.
“Advancing our comprehensive strategic partnership” Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the UAE on June 28 and met with President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. “This visit is part of regular consultations between the two countries on bilateral and global issues of mutual interest,” the foreign minister said in a statement.
Jaishankar said he visited the UAE from August to September, where he co-chaired the 14th Joint Committee Meeting and the 3rd Strategic Dialogue with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah.
