Deven Bapna Reveals How He Started 3 Companies With Nothing
When it comes to entrepreneurship in India many people try their luck and fail miserably, but one name is becoming eminent in the digital marketing realm these days. It is an early afternoon in the hills of Udaipur and my interview with this barely 20 years old young Entrepreneur from Udaipur Mr. Deven Bapna is on.
We had an amazing talk and here are the highlights of the interview.
1). You are said to have a business acumen of a much more experienced player for your age, yet you are so humble. What keeps you so down to earth?
“Right from early childhood, I have been taught the importance of humility and how it goes a long way in life. One can never win over a person with aggression.”
2). What exactly is your work profile?
“I deal with product and brand marketing through social media. We handle marketing contracts for various companies on a global scale through this amazing platform that we call the internet. We perform social media marketing for companies across the globe with many clients from the US and the UK.”
3). How do you manage your business given that your major clients include those from countries like the US?
“I mostly find my clients through linkedIn, Instagram, Youtube, and other social media platforms. Optimized utilization of virtual resources and the connections that I have made over time, help me perform business globally.”
5). Your success looks so effortless, was it always this smooth?
“When it comes to the journey of an entrepreneur, nothing ever comes easy. I have faced a lot of problems in life, financial crunch, inappropriate time management. There were times when I faced severe losses. I moved ahead with nothing but dedication and everything started becoming streamlined.”
4). Do you have any Guru aka mentor to guide you?
” I so wish to have had one, but whatever I am doing today is purely based on my abilities and the passion to do such things because I had no one to teach me the basics before getting into the field.”
6). Marketing is a fish market these days, what separates you from the crowd?
“In a world full of people who believe in quantity, I believe in quality. Maybe I am a little old school but I accept limited projects at once but whatever I work upon I mold it with perfection.”
7). What are your plans ahead?
“I plan to continuously give my best in what I do and make it further big.”
8). What is your career mantra and what advice would you give to our readers?
“Although I have a long enough way to go before I start advising peeps out there(chuckles*). My only mantra in business is to give quality service that feels like the best and to be a trusted brand name myself.”
