According to the respected Cambridge Dictionary, meditation is the act of giving your attention to only one thing, either as a religious activity or as a way of becoming calm and relaxed.
When asked about her passion, Raksha Rathore – International Pride Woman 2019 – said that she believes that all the art we create brings Peace, not only to the artist but also the admirer. “Art dispels energy, the artist channels all their psyche onto the canvas, the paper, the stage. They can form a human out of clay. Art has the power to create and bring calm – as it gives everyone a healthy outlet. The onlooker sees their reflection in all art, it brings peace to be seen and understood.”
Raksha Rathore is a self-taught artist and has established her fine art and sculptures in the contemporary, and abstract genres of art.
She always had a deep appreciation for this field and has religiously devoted herself to learning more and more about the world of art.
She took up a career in Foreign Trade before switching to the profession of art full time. In the foreign trade career, she engaged in the corporate sector with various industries and looked over the workings of overseas markets such as UAE, USA, Australia, UK, Europe.
In this career, she got a first-hand look into the components that go into the growth and development of the country.
When she switched to art she again committed herself towards working for growth and development – but this time on the more holistic side.
Raksha’s art was welcomed at many events such as in various countries and events like World Art Dubai, Parallax Art Fairs London, Indian Art Exhibition etc. These arts was appreciated and acknowledged even by the Art veterans.

She worked on her art and uplifted the art of others. But there were many didn’t struggle for international venues, they struggled to get into any venue, they weren’t appreciated because no one had seen them in the light of an artist.
Raksha along with her peers at various NGOs sees to all those who struggle and helps them set up their shows, and promote their art.
- Raksha also promotes the various local handicrafts of this wonderful land of ours.
