(PM Modi) lit the lamp at his residence for nine minutes today (April 5) at 9 pm to show a sense of solidarity against the coronavirus epidemic. During this time, PM Modi is seen wearing a dhoti-kurta and a necklace in the neck.
After turning off all the lights at his residence, PM Modi lit several lamps one by one. The Prime Minister has shared the photo with a verse from his Twitter handle. Whereas the countrymen switched off all the lights for 9 minutes at 9 pm tonight and lit a lamp, candle and mobile flashlight and flash to show India’s fight against Corona as per the Prime Minister’s appeal.

At the same time, in Gujarat, PM Modi’s mother Heeraben lit an earthen lamp by turning off all the lights at his residence. The Prime Minister had appealed to the nation to turn off all the lights of the houses for 9 minutes tonight and show solidarity against the corona virus.

According to Health Ministry data, the number of people who lost their lives due to the new corona virus has increased to 83, while the number of people infected has increased to 3,577 in the country. According to statistics, in the last 24 hours, 505 new cases of infection have been reported in the country.
