The cannabis sector has proven the perfect match for restaurants as West Coast Ventures Corp. (OTC: WCVC) has proven with its CBD infused food & Drinks

The cannabis sector has exploded into a wave of innovation over the course of 2019 and investors are scrambling to find the best niche. CBD, a subsector predicted to be worth as much as $260 million by 2022 in the US alone has proven to be one of the prime drivers of growth. CBD beverages and CBD edibles have proven a particularly enticing prospect for investors and companies like West Coast Ventures Corp. (OTC: WCVC) are leading the charge.

The company’s CEO, Jim Nixon, is a CBD skeptic turned to convert. He initially dismissed CBD as another health craze that would die out until he saw the incredible effects that it had on his son, who has MDS. After witnessing the potential health benefits of CBD at the passage of the Farm Bill Jim decided to make it a mission to educate his diners about the potential benefits and provide high-quality CBD products.

WCVC sells Illegal Brands CBD across all of its Illegal Burger and Illegal Pizza locations. The CBD is served in the form of a sachet, providing customers a choice about how much, or how little, they want to use. Diners are also able to enjoy additive and sugar-free Illegal Brands CBD water as a healthy alternative to alcohol. Their CBD is sourced from a top-quality provider and all of their lab results are available online at their website.

Another example hails from West Hollywood (California) where authorities have given Lowell Herb Co. the green light to operate Lowell Café, a space in which its customers can not only taste a wide variety of products made from cannabis but also smoke marijuana.

In this establishment, which promises to be a safe and stigma-free space, its promoters have dedicated four years. In 2018, the project received a major boost when the state of California legalized the use of recreational marijuana.

Sean Black, co-owner of Lowell Farms created his company under the premise that it should be treated similarly to alcohol. In addition, he talks about restrictions on the prohibition of cannabis in other areas of the United States, which according to him has been based in an “unfair and racist” way because it was attributed to certain populations.

On the products offered by his local, Black related that the food as such does not contain cannabis, but that the companions have it as sweets and desserts.

Finally, the businessman also revealed that the chef Andrea Drummer, recognized in the culinary, is the one who will be in charge of preparing all the food that will be offered in the establishment.

CBD has proven incredibly versatile and it is pioneers, like WCVC and Lowell Farms, who will reap the greatest rewards by tapping into this new trend before others realize that it exists. By adopting a CBD-friendly approach restaurants will be able to tap into a new source of revenue and differentiate themselves from competitors in what has always been a crowded sector.
