88 individuals have already died and 196 more are missing 3 weeks after the deadliest camp fire that spread into a runaway wild fire within the state of California’s history, torching a tiny mountain range neighborhood leaving behind smoldering wreckages, experts pointed out on Wednesday.
The Camp Fire, that started it all on Nov. 8th, demolished almost 14,000 residences and burned-down almost 153,000 acres (62,000 hectares), a region 5 times the dimensions of San Francisco, around the community of Paradise, a north California town of 27,000 individuals.
Butte Region Marshal, Kory Honea stated on Wednesday he was actually “hopeful that the 196 folks noted as missing might still be alive.”
