The UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has extended an invitation to his Israeli counterpart, Reuven Rivlin, to attend the upcoming Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue.
The move is seen as a significant step forward in normalising relations between the two countries following the historic Abraham Accords agreement last year.
The Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue will be held on the 12th and 13th of February at the National Defense College in Abu Dhabi. It will be attended by regional and international space agencies, scientists, and experts.
During the dialogue, participants will discuss a range of topics related to space exploration and its role in promoting peace and security in the region.
The UAE President’s invitation to the Israeli President is a strong indication of the commitment of both countries to enhance cooperation in all fields, including space.
