Dogs and Cats shedding Hair – Although most do so to a greater or lesser extent, there are more and more cases of animals that have stopped loosing their hair. This happens mostly with cats that live in homes that have heating and air conditioning.

Being at a constant temperature throughout the year, the animal can stop perceiving the seasonal changes and therefore, stop shedding it’s hair, as it does not need to lose part of the coat in summer or thicken it during the winter.
The loss of hair outside the molt season is a symptom of illness, or problems in both the dogs and the cats, and should be referred to the veterinarian.
