New Delhi: An official statement has emerged on the India-China talks. The army has said that officials of the two countries will keep talking to each other. There will be talks between the two countries through military and diplomatic channels. Explain that amid the ongoing military standoff in East Ladakh, India and China on Friday committed to not let their ‘differences’ turn into a dispute.
At this stage, therefore, any speculative and unsubstantiated reporting about these engagements would not be helpful and the media is advised to refrain from such reporting: Indian Army Spokesperson (2/2) https://t.co/xofpSGodW7

Significantly, in a major effort to remove the tension going on at the border since a month , talks are being held between the Indian and Chinese armies up to the level of lieutenant general. Lieutenant General Harinder Singh is leading the meeting on behalf of India, while on behalf of China, the talks have been handled by Major General Liu Lin of the Chinese Army.
There is also a map of LAC in front of Lieutenant General Harinder Singh and Major of China Army, through which talks are being held on the border dispute. It is likely that after today’s talks, the next round of talks will be scheduled.

China has replaced the head of its Western theater command against India, first its commander was General Zhao Zongqi who had been leading the command since 2016, and now Shu Killing has been appointed for this front.
It is clear that the siege of India to encircle China is beginning to have an impact, the way China has changed its commander just before the talks, it is clear that China is completely on the backfoot on this matter.
