Madrid: The 113-year-old woman, considered the oldest person in Spain, has beaten the coronavirus while many others living in the same retirement home have died of the disease. A person gave this information on Tuesday. This woman, named Maria Brennius, was infected with Corona in April and fought the war by isolating herself in the room.
A retirement home spokesperson told AFP, “She fought the disease and is now recovering.” They showed mild signs of coronavirus. The spokesman said that Maria is feeling well now. He was tested last week and his report has come up negative.
According to a local television, Maria kept herself locked in the room for several weeks and only one employee was allowed to go to her room for care.
Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly around the world.
