On the lines of foreign travel, now detailed information will also have to be given on travelling in trains. For this, complete details have to be given in the form issued by the Indian Railways. In particular, the traveller has to write the full address of the place of stay at his destination. This decision will also be applicable in future. Till now, only one had to provide their address on the form while taking a train ticket for the journey. But now both have to be given information. This will make it easier for the railways to locate the person concerned.
Such challenges arose during the Kovid-19. There was difficulty in detecting Corona infected passengers and identifying those travelling with it. Passengers arriving at the stations are not getting the facility of taxis and buses due to the closed movement due to the lockdown. The railway can give information in this regard to the concerned states beforehand.
The first phase of railway operation completed
The first phase of the special Rajdhani Express trains commissioned to evacuate those trapped in the lockdown will be completed on May 22, whose extension will be decided in the next two-three days. The number of special AC trains may increase in the second phase. In the review of the operation of special Rajdhani trains of the last three days, efforts are being made to correct the flaws found. Due to the high number of people cancelling tickets in these trains, Indian Railways had to implement their old policy of ticket cancellation. Along with this, the waiting list limit for the long-awaited tickets has been fixed, which will remain in force even after the regular running of trains. Those with waiting tickets can no longer enter the trains.

There are no tickets available till 22 May in special Rajdhani Express trains. According to the railway, till May 14, a total of 2.34 passengers have taken the railway ticket. A total of 1.25 lakh PNRs have been issued for this. The Railways have earned a total revenue of Rs 45.30 crore from selling these tickets. A total of 25737 passengers have completed the journey by these trains till 14 May. A total of 18 special Rajdhani trains left for their destination on Thursday.

In addition, the board has earmarked 200 waiting tickets for the sleeper class.
