China’s official TV channel China Global Television Network (CGTN) official website has published a tweet with pictures of Mount Everest, stating that on Friday, Mount Qomolangma has a wonderful view of sunlight, also known as Mount Everest. The world’s highest peak is located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Let us know that by sharing the magnificent picture of Mount Everest, China has ignored Nepal.
According to experts,
Nepal and China signed a border dispute resolution agreement in 1960. According to which it had decided that Mount Everest would be divided. Its southern part will be Nepal and the northern part of the Tibet Autonomous Region, which China claims.
Speaking to ANI about CGTN’s tweet, Srikant Kondapali, professor of Chinese studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, said it was nothing new, China to strengthen its claims on Tibet and Mount Everest Is trying Along with this, he said that Everest is extremely inaccessible towards Tibet and it is of little use from China. Their climbers do not climb. The climb from that side is absolutely steep and getting a visa is also a problem.
Experts are more concerned about the 5G network installation on Everest. Srikanth Kondapalli said that China has put a 5G network on Everest. Which is a controversial move, as it could bring the entire Himalayas under its fold. There is also a military aspect of this 5G network, as it has installed at an altitude of about 8,000 meters above sea level. With this, China can keep an eye on India, Bangladesh and Myanmar and in the coming days, it can take advantage of this technology in the Himalayan region.

Significantly, the majority of tourism and expedition on Mount Everest is present in the part of Nepal. Now with the help of technology, China is developing the part of Everest located towards Tibet. However, China has cleared its plan by declaring Everest as its own. But this ambitious move taking by China by ignoring Nepal may create bitterness in its relations with Nepal.
